This photograph was taken at Utrecht Centraal train station. Alain de Botton once wrote some impressive words on a similar sign at Schiphol, praising the colour scheme, the clear font and overall lay-out of the sign. For him, the efficacy of the sign said something about the culture / people that had produced it. It vaguely reminds me of the first and last scene of Carlito's Way.
