In retrospect, the most interesting aspect of this photograph is probably the ubiquitous Caribbean calendar, always outdated (this one 2000), ever surprising. This specimen is a particularly fine one: it reads "From cradle to grave, the different stages of life" and has been donated by the La Qua brothers, who offer such services as funeral homes, gardens of remembrance and a crematorium.
