After catching a mini-bus in St. George's that was heading north, we soon found ourselves hurtling along the winding west coast road. Beauitful scenery flashed by, and many a small village, including Concord, birthplace of the legendary Mighty Sparrow! We would ideally have liked to stop off at various places along the way, but being unsure of how easy it would be to get a ride between towns, we decided to continue straight up to Gouyave. This charming little town is home to the only large nutmeg processing station still in operation on Grenada. It is rather large building painted in cream and green, which has managed to avoid too much destruction by the recent spate of hurricanes.
