We followed signposts along the main road down to this reconstructed Carib settlement, which doesn't look particularly convincing to our eyes. The concrete support blocks and cement floor may be practical, pretty they ain't! Not a lot was going on at the site, so we didn't dally. I don't know what the current status of the village is, but I recently read a rather sad account of the concept and its various setbacks and failings in Maximilian Forte's Carib Survival book. Recommended but depressing reading...
