Not all of Barcelona's architectural treats are in the guidebooks. Strolling around the Eixample area, we stumbled upon the marvellous Casa Asia, a cultural foundation, art gallery, media library, workshop / conference venue and bar/restaurant rolled into one. Housed in Palau Baró de Quadras, a modernist building designed by renowned architect Puig i Cadafalch, both exterior and interior designs were astounding and the roof terrace-garden offered great views of the city.
