The staircase from Ladder Bay (the only beach on Saba, stretching a mind-boggling 5 metres on average) up to The Bottom. For years, this was the only way to get on the island, and everything had to be hauled up these flights of stairs. Nowadays, there is a proper harbour at Fort Bay and a road running down to it.
